first good snow
We saw about 20 mile of ice on the way back from t-day outside pendleton.
this morning we get up to about 1.5" of snow on our driveway, but find that is sufficient to really ice over the roads. i drive faster then alodia would and go about 30 to the main road. we get there to see cars sliding down the hill, almost into eachother (inches). We were at a T, and a school bus stopped in front of us going through the T and then slid backwards and into the other lane only to get out and find the chains. we could have sat there for an hour watching cars almost slide into eachother and off the road. I must say, i was happy for the abs brakes and AWD.
Even on the freeway we saw a surburban slide toward the concrete median and stop - only to back up a bit and then pass everyone. I guess he has not reached the learning phase of his life and the rest of us will have to make room for him.

some people will never realize that 4wd/awd is what makes you go, not STOP. every car has 4 tires, every car has brakes on all of them, so GET A CLUE PEOPLE
