LumanLab
I rolled out the 20$ for their 'guide'.
I must say - it's worth it.
good discussion, good community.
i've got enough reading here before i finalize my plans to last several weeks.

nice find. and probably worth the 20$
I am very curious to find out what your lens source and combination will be after reading the info, and if the 'bulb' is as simple as a flood light from kragens. you'll need to describe cooling, and give me an idea if you are going for composite in or just VGA computer input. give me the low down! I want in!
check out the bulbs, balast, and 'regular' lenses off of lumanlab.com store.
that is probably what i'll go wtih for light and lenses.
i beleive i need about 120 cu feet/ per minute through the box to keep the lcd less then 10 degrees farenheight over ambiet air tempature.
check out the forums. they show alot that do not cost anything. it's where is spenk weeks (and reverse engineer all the info i needed) before i bought the guide. i wanted to see more stuff of how others had done it, and figured it'd save me at LEAST 20$ of doing my own stuff again. i'm happy i made the invesment.
