sql server ms access replacments!

ok, they are not quite as good, but the price is VERY attractive.
I've been playing with OpenOffice 2.0 rc1 Base 2.0, an odbc driver for PostgreSQL, and PostgreSQL 8.0.3.

wow, this has some serious potential.

I've even used Base to model a new ERD for a consulting project i'm working on. I find it intersting i can download, install, and learn Base faster then i can dig up sql server from somewhere. i just need a modeling environment!
